Holly crap it's a vine

DSC_2118.jpg, originally uploaded by drackar.

Not just any vine. It's basically a poison oak tree. For scale, that huge knot of branches hanging off that oak looking tree in the foreground? That's about six feet of the ground.

Someone asked what the last image was...out of focus green LED lamp. Actually, the same lamp that made that last textured bit of lighting.

as for my Macro's a cheep set of extension rings and, for that image my 50mm f1.4

  1. Awesome blog, thanks for the follow! I take photos as well, but it's been a while. I have an ol' Canon Rebel XTi, the kit lens, a 28mm f/1.8, a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6, 50mm, and some cheap screw-on fisheye lens, lol. I also have a Canon AE-1, and a 50mm for that one and a 28-135mm one. This blog makes me want to take photos more often.

  2. If you look closely, you'll see the tree move.

  3. Such distinct photos with great variety.

  4. Got to be careful in the forests :D

  5. Damn, that looks.....awesome. :) Keep it up.

  6. Ummm don't piss off mother nature.
